Project management is about:

Programme Management — Managing the Bigger Picture

A programme is a coordinated set of projects working toward a broader outcome. Think: upgrading energy efficiency across 200 properties. Or rolling out decarbonisation works across multiple boroughs.

Programme management is about:

  • Linking several projects under one strategy
  • Managing interdependencies and shared resources
  • Aligning delivery with long-term objectives
  • Realising benefits, not just finishing jobs

It’s higher-level, longer-term — and it requires different skills, especially around stakeholder engagement, change management and governance.
